To the men, wives, family and friends of Team India 2008:

May I take a moment to encourage the 6 men headed to India this coming Thursday: Jon, Andy, Larry, Trevor, Doug and Brent - I have no words to express the emotions I am dealing with as you prepare for a "journey of a life-time." When you step out of that airport, halfway around the world, I trust the Lord will personally guide you in paths that will bring Glory and Honor to Him. When my son, John and I stepped into India a year and a half ago, little did we know our lives would never be the same. John mentioned several times the love that these people showered upon us was over-whelming. You will meet some of the most precious Indian people who will have great difficulty in understanding why 6 men from the USA would travel so far to spend time with those that have been rejected by society. You will look into their eyes and see the love that Christ has for these people.

To the wives, family and friends. Know that up to 10,000 (or more) people in small congregations throughout Hyderabad and outlining areas are praying for you and these guys. Also, thousands in the USA are presenting these brothers before the Throne of God and asking Him to keep all of you in His perfect peace.

With all that is occurring this week in our United States, it now (at least for me) seems to pale in comparison to what these 6 men will be bringing to India --- they will bring with them the Truth from the Living Word of God to hundreds of poor pastors, women and youth and they will share the Good News of Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ to thousands trapped in darkness!

May the Peace that transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus!
